- amro thabit was born in 1987. graduated from ein shams university in 2008, interested in several artistic fields, including illustration, graphic design and animation. recently he participated in a workshop titled (roto) which featured his animation debut (al raseef-platform), a short film based on youssef chahin's (al khtyar-the choice). the film was first shown in cairo - april 2009, later it was shown in turin's international bookfair in italy - may 2009 and the (middle east now) festival in bratislava in slovakia - june 2009. lately thabit participated a number of illustrations to a group show titled (fantazmagoria), which featured many young arab artists and was held in beirut - august 2009 . amro thabit lives and works in cairo.
